Hey, Charger? No.

Seen the ad for Dodge Caliber? Sent to Dodge contact:

We have just seen the advertisement for Dodge Caliber with the cartoon fairy who flies into the wall etc.

Although it happens not to apply specifically to us, we find the underlying homophobia and stereotyping utterly unacceptable. Please see yesterday's news about the singer who was beaten within an inch of his life by the kind of people to whom your ad appeals.

From the time we owned a '72 Charger until now, we had been favorably inclined toward Dodge products. That positive perception has just evaporated. If we stand by and accept your ad campaign as amusing or even tolerable, we become, like you, perpetrators of a truly vile form of cultural transmission. To consider purchasing a Dodge product at this point would constitute implicit acceptance and cooperation; that is an unacceptable course of action.

Shame on you for taking the extraordinarily low road!
